India is in the process of digitization of its cable TV sector and with Phase II currently underway, Indiantelevison.com believes that it is the best time to highlight and recognize, encourage and reward best practices/initiatives in the cable TV and DTH industries for the year 2013.  The idea is to push the digital agenda further through this initiative. The First Indian Digital TV Honours aims to be a comprehensive list of organizations and individuals from across the country and initiatives that stood out during the year and played an important role in pushing the digitization process.

The list will be complied by an Advisory Board, comprising senior executives and veterans from across the ecosystem, along with the Indiantelevision.com editorial team led by Anil Wanvari (Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief).

The First Indian Digital TV Honours will be announced and the winners felicitated at The Lalit, New Delhi on 28th January, 2014.
